Removal of Heavy Metals from Wastewater
The OKO-ionex ion exchanger is used when more stringent demands are placed on the heavy-metal content of the treated wastewater. The ion exchanger tank contains a special resin which, as a selective ion exchanger, is highly effective at absorbing the dissolved heavy metals from the wastewater. Nozzle plates at the top and bottom ensure an even flow through the resin bed and prevent the resin from being flushed out of the tank.
