We are liable for damages – for whatever legal reason – in cases of intent and gross negligence. In case of simple negligence, our liability for us, our legal representatives or our vicarious agents, is limited to a maximum of € 1,000,000.- for property damage and € 100,000.- for monetary damages for each individual case. This does not affect further liability
- a) for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health
- b) for damages resulting from the breach of a contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfillment makes the proper execution of the contract actually possible and on whose observance the contractual partner regularly relies and may rely); in this case, however, our liability is limited to compensation for the foreseeable, typically occurring damage.
