OKO-aquaclean DAF systems are multifunctional wastewater treatment systems that integrate several treatment processes into a single compact unit. Pollutants are separated continuously as the wastewater flows through the system. Fully automated operation combined with comprehensive sensor technology makes OKO-aquaclean a flexible and high-performance solution for a wide range of industrial applications.

Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)
In dissolved air flotation, contaminants are removed from wastewater by introducing air into the water. OKO-tech’s high-performance flotation technology is an integrated treatment process that generates microscopic air bubbles to float and separate even the smallest particles and oil droplets.
The seven-chamber reactor with a flow-optimised dissolved air flotation module (DAF) features automatic level control adapted to the selected flow rate (OVR).
Dosing Technology
Depending on the treatment requirements, the OKO-aquaclean can be equipped with up to nine dosing pumps. Typically, between one and four dosing pumps are installed according to the defined treatment process.
Each dosing pump is calibrated to the specific medium and required dosing capacity, ensuring precise dosing and preventing unnecessary costs caused by overdosing.
Light Liquid Separator According to EN 858
OKO-tech flotation systems also meet the requirements of EN 858 for separators for light liquids. Each system is supplied with CE marking, confirming compliance with the applicable EU requirements.
Measurement and Analysis Technology
OKO-aquaclean DAF systems are equipped with comprehensive online monitoring and analysis technology. Water quality and treated flow volume can be monitored at the outlet, providing reliable control of the treatment results.
At the same time, sensors at the inlet continuously measure and monitor the characteristics of the wastewater stream to ensure stable and reliable process control.
Digital measurement technology is used for continuous monitoring and control of key parameters, including pH, conductivity, temperature, redox potential and oil phases.
Control Technology
OKO-aquaclean DAF systems are equipped with state-of-the-art PLC-based control systems. Intuitive user interfaces enable straightforward operation of the treatment system.
Operating parameters such as the required flow rate and dosing quantities can be preset by the operator. Operating data and fault messages are automatically recorded and logged.
The powerful control system also enables the integration of external components and connection to existing control and process control systems.
Web-based remote maintenance is also included as standard, enabling remote access for monitoring, diagnostics and service.
