Coarse Solids Removal and Effective Wastewater Treatment in the Food Industry
The OKO-rosi Rotary Screen from OKO-tech is used for wastewater treatment in the food industry. It continuously removes coarse solids larger than 3 mm from wastewater streams at flow rates of up to 60 m³/h. This allows companies to separate solid materials such as peelings, food residues and other coarse particles from the wastewater. Emulsified fats and natural oils can then be treated in OKO-aquaclean Flotation Systems. Where required, the systems can also neutralise the wastewater as part of the treatment process. This improves treated-water quality and can enable the water to be reused or discharged in accordance with the applicable requirements.
