Tank Technology
OKO-select 29
The OKO-select tanks are specifically designed for physico-chemical treatment systems. Their tricanter function and tall, slim design enable effective physical separation of the three phases: oil, water and sludge.
With a nominal capacity of 29 m³, the tanks are equipped with comprehensive sensor technology that provides the central control system of the physico-chemical treatment system with all relevant process data. This enables fully automated filling and selective removal of the oil, sludge and water phases.
OKO-oiltank 29
The OKO-oiltank enables static dewatering of the separated oil from the physico-chemical treatment system. Equipped with modern sensor technology, it enables automated and reliable oil dewatering with a capacity of 29 m³.
OKO-sr
Our OKO-sr mixing tanks are available in volumes ranging from 1 to 40 m³ and can be manufactured from plastic, steel or stainless steel. Custom designs are available on request.
High-performance agitators ensure intensive mixing of the tank contents. OKO-sr tanks play a central role in heavy metal precipitation and flocculation in physico-chemical treatment systems.
OKO-cwt
The OKO-cwt tanks collect the treated water from the physico-chemical treatment system. They serve as buffer tanks, allowing the treated water to be reused as service water for cleaning purposes.
Excess water is safely discharged to the sewer system in accordance with the applicable requirements for indirect discharge.
Polymer Preparation Units
OKO-polydos
The OKO-polydos polymer preparation systems prepare diluted solutions of flocculants and polymer-based treatment agents.
Depending on wastewater volume and dosing requirements, we offer manual or fully automated preparation systems capable of processing both liquid and powdered flocculants.
Milk of Lime Preparation Units
Our lime milk preparation systems consist of a lime silo for storing hydrated lime and an OKO-sr mixing tank for automatically preparing lime milk at the required concentration.
The wastewater treatment system control unit regulates the preparation process. For smaller wastewater volumes, lime milk can be supplied using delivered IBC containers, eliminating the need for a lime silo.
Storage of Chemicals
OKO-buffer
Chemical physico-chemical wastewater treatment processes require a wide range of treatment chemicals.
Acids and alkalis are used for neutralisation, while additional chemicals support emulsion breaking and flocculation. Organic demulsifiers and coagulants are used in our OKO-aquaclean dissolved air flotation systems.
The chemicals are safely stored in chemical-resistant containers positioned on bunded areas. Continuous monitoring is provided by non-contact level measurement.
If the minimum fill level is reached, operators automatically receive a refill reminder.
Screen Walls for Dewatering the Discharge from Vacuum-Truck Tanks
During waste reception at physico-chemical treatment facilities, sediments can remain in the tanker after the liquid phase has been discharged through the OKO-rosi rotary screen.
After opening the rear tanker hatch, these residues are discharged into a dewatering basin. The inside of the tanker is then cleaned with water.
OKO-tech installs a screen wall with a vibrating unit at the end of the basin to ensure rapid and effective dewatering of the sludge.
Biofilters
In accordance with the requirements of TA-Luft and ABA-VwV, our enclosed system components capture emissions directly at their source and transfer them to exhaust air treatment systems.
For treating the extracted exhaust air, we use proven biofilters designed to provide reliable and effective odour and emission control.
