Separation of Settleable Solids
The OKO-aquased removes settleable solids from wastewater through a process known as sedimentation. Lamella clarifiers provide more efficient sedimentation than conventional settling tanks while requiring significantly less space.
The separated sludge is collected in the lower section of the OKO-aquased and periodically pumped out. The sludge must then be dewatered. This can be carried out using a chamber filter press or a dewatering container.
