High Treated-Water Quality Through Fine Filtration with the OKO-sf Gravel Filter
The OKO-sf gravel filter is used where high treated-water quality is required, particularly with regard to filterable solids. Fine particles suspended in the wastewater are retained by a multi-layer filter bed consisting of gravel and sand.
Depending on the loading of the OKO-sf, the filter is automatically backwashed based on pressure and/or time. To ensure uninterrupted wastewater treatment, two OKO-sf units are generally used. While one filter is treating the wastewater, the second unit remains on standby and takes over filtration when the first unit is being backwashed.
