Separation and Continuous Discharge of Coarse Solids
The OKO-rosi rotary screen separates unwanted coarse solids from liquid waste and continuously discharges them from the treatment process. It has been specifically developed for robust operation in wastewater treatment systems, including physico-chemical treatment systems, and is ideally suited for the reception and pre-treatment of industrial wastewater.
The OKO-rosi is fully enclosed to minimise emissions. The wastewater is fed into the internal screening drum, which reliably retains coarse solids larger than 3 mm, such as gloves, knife blades, tools, leaves and stones. A conveyor screw continuously transports the separated solids into a collection container.

Benefits
- Volume flows with a high contaminant load of up to 60 m³/h
- Separation of impurities > 3mm
- Continuous discharge of impurities
- Integrated high-performance rinsing system
- Very low costs for maintenance and servicing
- Very low space requirement
- Low energy demand
Equipment Features
Separation of Solids > 3 mm
The OKO-rosi features level-controlled waste reception with integrated separation of unwanted solids larger than 3 mm.
High-Performance Flushing System
An integrated high-pressure flushing system and brushes keep the screen openings clear at all times. Once the coarse solids have been removed, the treated water is transferred to the next treatment stage by a directly flanged pump.
- Booster pump and nozzle system for cleaning the screening drum and tank
Pump Technology
- Automatic solids discharge
- Transfer pump with a capacity of up to 60 m³/h
Dosing Technology
In parallel with solids separation, the incoming commercial or industrial wastewater or aqueous waste can optionally be neutralised.
Separate dosing pumps for acid and alkali are provided for pH adjustment.
Measurement and Analysis Technology
The level monitoring system in the OKO-rosi enables automated control of the pumping process. Temperature sensors and pressure monitoring are also integrated to protect the treatment equipment.
As an option, the OKO-rosi can detect free oil phases and automatically adjust wastewater with a pH value of >4 to <11 to the required pH level.
