The OKO-cpa 4.0 is an innovative concept for modern physico-chemical treatment systems designed for the waste management sector. It is based on the requirements for highly economical and safe treatment of aqueous waste in accordance with Best Available Techniques (BAT).
Our physico-chemical treatment systems can accept both organically and inorganically contaminated liquid waste in separate treatment lines and treat it using physico-chemical processes.
The system receives organically and inorganically contaminated liquid waste in separate treatment lines and treats it so that the resulting aqueous phase can subsequently be discharged into the sewer system in compliance with applicable requirements.

Key Features of Our Physico-Chemical Treatment Systems for Waste Management:
Waste Reception
At the waste reception bays, delivered waste is discharged into a liquid-tight system. All relevant input data is recorded digitally via a PC.
Solid sludge from vacuum tankers is discharged into a large-capacity reception bay using hydraulic push-out pistons. The reception system enables efficient unloading of vacuum tankers, reducing turnaround times and relieving transport logistics.
Separation of Unwanted Material: OKO-rosi
The OKO-rosi rotary screen continuously removes coarse solids larger than 3 mm.
At flow rates of up to 60 m³/h, a high-performance pump transfers the liquid phase to the OKO-select tanks. If required, the incoming wastewater can be neutralised on its way from the OKO-rosi to the OKO-select tanks.
The system can also collect and separate used oil. The screening drum is self-cleaning, preventing clogging during operation.
OKO-select Tank Technology
The OKO-select tanks enable physical phase separation of oil, water and sludge. Each phase is pumped out separately.
Sensors provide continuous electronic monitoring of the tank contents. This information enables operators to optimise the separation of sludge, water and oil within the tank.
In practice, waste transfer in OKO-select tanks can be carried out approximately twice as quickly as in conventional storage tanks. This reduces the required building space and the size of the tank area, contributing to economical system operation.
Wastewater Treatment: OKO-aquaclean
OKO-aquaclean systems form the core of the physico-chemical treatment system. They remove emulsions, heavy metals, oil components and other substances that can interfere with subsequent biological treatment from the wastewater.
Following treatment, the separated streams of float sludge, water and oil are directed to the corresponding system components.
This enables operators to select the most cost-effective treatment route for each individual process stream. Comprehensive sensor technology and online analysis equipment enable automated system operation.
Precisely controllable dosing pumps ensure economical chemical consumption while maintaining high water quality.
Sludge Dewatering with OKO-ewcs
Sludge generated at various stages of the treatment process, such as sludge separated from the treatment basin, settled sludge from the OKO-select tanks and float sludge from the OKO-aquaclean system, is pumped into containers for dewatering and conditioning.
The OKO-ewcs is a time-saving, effective and cost-efficient solution that produces compact, dewatered sludge suitable for disposal in accordance with landfill requirements.
Control Technology for Our Physico-Chemical Treatment Systems
In OKO-cpa 4.0 systems, all components are connected via sensors to the central control system, where all relevant information is recorded, visualised and monitored.
The high degree of automation enables efficient and low-maintenance operation.
The treatment process is visualised and controlled via a user-friendly interface, making system operation straightforward for the operator. In addition, the process can be controlled locally or remotely using state-of-the-art PLC technology and remote monitoring.
